Processed a couple of growlers of booch when I got home today and I tried a new kind of juice/secondary ferment. Will see how it goes. I’m interested to see if the black pepper notes come through in the final product.

Today was spent with the theatre cadre from the school district along with a visitor, Kevin Rigdon. He’s a big time designer/educator who started Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago with Gary Sinise and Jeff Perry while they were in high school, nbd. I’m always inspired and challenged and a little misty eyed when I have the opportunity to work with or learn from world class theatre artists. The hard part is translating that excitement to my cafeteria stage. Best part of the day was Erica’s cheeky add from Bust Magazine that we all had a good laugh at, something I needed.

Got an email from a parent today about her daughter having a near fatal infection over the break and the past week. This on top of the already heavy week made this afternoon a bit more of a challenge emotionally than I was hoping for.

Tomorrow looking at 20 miles and a meeting and a show! Thankfully my family is healthy again.
